Well, here in my Texan home, I'm kinda forced to take an art class for a "fine arts" credit. It's annoying...and yeah I sometimes use a kleenex or my finger(when I'm too lazy to go get a kleenex ) for shading.

Thank you so much! It usually takes a looooong time for me to finish a project (probably because I've never taken an art class). I think it is really cool that you're taking one.

As far as shading goes, do you use blending tortillons? They usually give a nice effect. Kleenex also work wonders. Also, I have found that regular white card stock is a good paper to use because you don't end up with that "grainy" look after blending that some art paper leaves you with.

You're good working with pencil you know shading and stuff. I'm in art 1, and I always fail the art project when i gotta shade.
